Water & Earth: The Special Profile of a 4/1 Generator

Soul Geometry 'Water Earth': hand-drawn artwork on black paper, an icosahedron inside a cube, framed by two rings of hexagram lines, a Star of David and large orange circles

Every Soul Geometry artwork is drawn from one person’s Human Design chart. This is the handout of “Water Earth”, the artwork of a 4/1 Generator. The 4/1 profile comes with a special stability. It is the energy that can ground things and manifest them on earth, calmly. Here is what each element of the picture means.

Icosahedron: what does it stand for?

The icosahedron is one of the 5 Platonic solids and represents the element Water – flow, adaptability and emotional depth.

In this chart it also represents the 4 right-pointing variables of the Human Design chart. Being receptive, in flow.

The colours of blue and purple underline the softness and spiritual depth of this energy – blue for clarity and inner tranquillity, purple for transformation and higher perception.

Hexahedron: why does it stand for Earth?

The hexahedron or cube is the most stable shape of the Platonic solids – six equal squares, perfectly balanced. It represents the element Earth: foundation and longevity.

This is also reflected in the 4/1 profile as a 4/1 comes with a special stability. It is the energy that can ground and manifest things on Earth. Not in a fast and hectic way but calmly.

The bronze colour supports the warmth, worth and timeless strength.

Hexagrams: what do the two rings show?

The two rings contain the Human Design chart.

The inner ring consists of the I Ching hexagrams of the personality gates while the outer ring consists of the I Ching hexagrams of the design gates.

The conscious gates (personality) are in the inner ring as they are closer to the core energy. The design gates are more obvious to the environment and therefore they are placed in the outer ring.

Star of David: what does it stand for?

The Star of David is a two-dimensional Merkaba and consists of two equal triangles.

The triangle is also one of the Platonic solids and represents the element of Fire.

Hexagon: why is it so strong?

We come across hexagons in nature all the time – in beehives, salt deserts or basalt columns. It is one of the strongest shapes there is. Maximum stability, no wasted space.

In this geometry the hexagon strengthens the cube’s stability but with a softer touch. White is clarity and the lines serve as a reminder that structure does not have to be rigid. It can breathe.

Circles and waves: what do they stand for?

The orange circles and waves bring movement into the geometry. Orange is the colour of the sacral: creativity, life force and joy.

Circles are cycles and show that nothing in life is linear.
